Communications Officer in Cabo Verde

Anita Pinto is a Communications and Advocacy Specialist in the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Cabo Verde. She is proud of her collaborative work with the different agencies in Cabo Verde to show the impact of the work of the United Nations through striking photography.

She recently led the communications strategy to promote inclusivity in all the UN messaging to ensure that people with disabilities are not left behind. She also worked closely with national authorities to achieve the goal of vaccinating more than 75% of the population against COVID-19.
