Head of Resident Coordinator's Office in Multi-Country Office Jamaica

Meet Morgan Murray, the Head of the Multi-Country Office for Jamaica, The Bahamas, Bermuda, The Cayman Islands and Turks and Caicos Islands.  She recently led the coordination task to produce the UN Multi-Country Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for the Caribbean countries, covering 6 UN country teams, 23 UN entities and 22 different Caribbean countries and territories.  The process involved convening dozens of senior and technical government representatives as well as the coordination of results groups, steering committees and multiple consultation with key stakeholders and partners in these countries.  

As the Head of the Multi-Country Office, Morgan led the planning and coordination of these exercises, ensuring the unique contributions from all relevant actors are reflected in the consolidated UN offer to the countries and territories that the Multi-Country Office serves.  The resulting Cooperation Framework has enjoyed a strong buy in from the partners, garnering 17 different country and territory signatures in just 8 months.
