Charting a path to recovery

Ana Lukatela, the Head of the Resident Coordinator’s Office in Ukraine is dedicated to supporting the UN development system come together around Ukraine’s recovery needs and ensure no one is left behind in the reconstruction process. She is proud of coordinating the UN’s significant contribution of data and evidence in the second Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment in partnership with the World Bank and the Government of Ukraine. This assessment resulted in the identification of five clear national emergency early recovery priorities, and she is now focused on coordinating the UN’s interventions in these areas (housing, demining, energy, social services, private sector support). She is leading discussions on behalf of the UN development system with the government to prepare for medium-term development planning and implementation through a new Cooperation Framework, for a planned launch in 2025.
