Head of Resident Coordinator's Office in Jordan
Agnese Spiazzi, the Head of Resident Coordinator's Office in Jordan, is dedicated to supporting and coordinating the work of the UN to meet the needs of people living in the country. She was instrumental in supporting the Resident Coordinator’s engagement with the UN country team to prepare a new programme – the Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2023-2027) – that will guide the joint work between the UN country team and the Government over the next five years. Agnese played a key role in ensuring a highly inclusive and participatory process. As a result, key partners - including youth, women’s group, non-governmental and civil society organizations, trade unions, media, the private sector and refugees - had the opportunity to voice and discuss their challenges, aspirations and possible ways to address them. The consultations also contributed to a stronger cooperation with humanitarian partners and improved collaboration on support to populations living in vulnerable situations in Jordan.
