Partnerships Officer in Türkiye

Meet Bülent, the Partnerships Officer in the Resident Coordinator’s Office in Türkiye. Bülent co-chairs an inter-agency Task Team on Partnerships and Development Finance of the UN Country Team as a platform to identify and collaborate around strong, inclusive, and innovative partner engagement in the country to advance the SDGs. This also enables stronger engagement with the European Union, International Financial Institutions, and the Multilateral/Regional Development Banks to align country programming frameworks and financing, and engaged academia to mobilize its knowledge and research capacities.  Bülent has supported pilot initiatives to partner with the private sector on the SDGs, particularly in the areas of inclusive businesses, gender equality, environment safeguarding, food security, labour rights protection and social inclusion; as well as mainstreaming and financing SDGs through businesses.
