Partnerships Officer in Togo
Kinvi Amoussou is the Partnerships Officer at the Resident Coordinator’s Office in Togo.
Kinvi supports the Resident Coordinator and the UN country team in creating strong and equal partnerships with various actors to jointly achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In collaboration with his peers in the UN country team, Kinvi led the development of a Partnership Strategy for UN in Togo that enables a harmonized approach in engaging various partners such as civil society organisations, International Financial Institutions, development partners, private sector, academia etc.
Jointly with the economist in his team, Kinvi supported the UN country team to organise a dialogue with private sector partners on advancing the SDGs. This process facilitated a joint agreement between the UN and a main Employers’ Organisation (Conseil National du Patronat) in Togo. This has become the basis for any new collaboration between the UN and the private sector entities who are a member to the Conseil, bringing the SDGs a key principle of any such partnership. Under the leadership of the Resident Coordinator, Kinvi is currently convening the UN, International Financial Institutions and other development partners, to improve coordination and joint work across partners working on similar issues.
