Tackling the Triple Planetary Crisis: A view from Yemen and Thailand

As the UN Climate Change Conference (COP28) kicks off today in the United Arab Emirates, countries around the world are grappling with the worsening impacts of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution.

In the face of this 'triple planetary crisis', UN Resident Coordinators are working with host governments to scale-up urgent climate action and protect communities most at risk. 

UN Assistant Secretary-General at UNEP, Ligia Noronha, sits down with UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen, David Gressly and UN Resident Coordinator in Thailand, Gita Sabharwal, to discuss some of the joint solutions they are bringing to the table.
